In today’s world, fashion designing is considered as one of the most glamorous and lucrative sectors. It is a booming industry that basically deals with designing of clothes and lifestyle accessories. Due to this, there are always demands for the people with some excellent craftsmanship quality. Keeping this thing in mind, a wide range of animation institutes has been developed in last 5-7 years. Among all those, NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) is the one that is known for bridging the gap for the demand of skilled people in the industry.

NIFT was formed in the year 1986 in order to make some contribution towards blooming fashion designing industry. It is considered as one of the pioneer institutes for fashion institutes, established by the Ministry of Textiles (Government of India). It is located in the heart of New Delhi i.e. Hauz Khas.
