MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology is located in Bangalore in Karnataka. It was founded in the year 1962 by a well known philanthropist Dr. M.S. Ramaiah. It is considered as one of the best engineering institutes in the state of Karnataka. The institute is accredited with A.I.C.T.E (Govt. of India).

Being affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, the institute offers excellent technical training to those students who want to enter in the field of engineering. It offers four years full time Under Graduate course of B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) with specializations in different branches such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrics & Electronics Engineering and Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. The college also imparts two years full time program of Master of Engineering.
