Established in the year 2001, Konark Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) is a private engineering college in Bhubaneswar, Orissa in India. Institute was founded by the VidyaSagar Charitable Trust and aims to create professional competent engineering and technological man power capable of meeting future challenges and able to work in global environment of industry and academia.

For the admission in first year an admission seeker need to have a rank in JEE (Main) (www.jeemain.nic.in), conducted by CBSE. 
 
For the admission in second year through lateral entry an admission seeker need to have a rank in OJEE conducted by the State Government of Odisha.
 
KIST provides M.TECH. in various disciplines as a two year course wherein admissions are done on the basis of merit rank in OJEE or GATE.
 
For MBA, admissions are done strictly as per the norms and regulations laid by the Government of Odisha. An admission seeker need to have a rank in any entrance examination like OJEE, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT and ATMA for the year candidate is seeking admission.
