Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi was established in the year 2008 is an autonomous university in Delhi, India. Institute aims to be a global centre of excellence in Information Technology education, training and research. The institute offers Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology, Master of Technology in Computer Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science.

IIIT Delhi has a huge campus spread over 25 acres of land with well architected and modern facilities. Campus provides conference rooms, a board room, a formal seating and discussion area and faculty offices, library and Information Centre, students' mess, which is spread over two floors, a cafeteria and facilities for extra co-curricular activities, such as a music room and a gymnasium.
The Training & Placement office is responsible for arranging campus placement for them as well as (summer) internships during the course of their study. The T&P Office also assists in arranging pre-placement talks, written tests, group discussions, and interviews with the companies.
