The IET was established by the Government of U.P in 1984, for imparting engineering education and for promoting technological research to generate suitable technical manpower. Institute has the authority to establish professional registration for the titles of Chartered Engineer, Incorporated Engineer, Engineering Technician, and ICT Technician, as a Licensed Member institution of the Engineering Council. It is the first state government Engineering College to start its classes in its own campus from the beginning itself.


Admissions:

Applicants willing to seek admission in the institute can register through online or offline process. Application forms will be available on the official website of the institute.

Institute accepts valid scores of SEE-UPTU/ GATE & other state entrance exams. Selection will be completely done on the merit basis and will be called for group discussion and personal interview.
