Hidayatullah National Law University was inaugrated by President APJ Abdul Kalam.It promotes and empowers legal education to students.It helps in advancement of careers by providing professional knowledge.


Admissions:

B.A.,LL.B [Hons] Degree Course (5 Year) :-

   A candidate for admission to the Degree Course shall have: not completed 20 years of age as on 1st July of the year of admission, provided in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST, the maximum age limit shall be 22 years as on 1st July of the year of admission.
    Passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) system or an equivalent examination thereto securing in the aggregate not less than 50% of the total marks in the core subjects and English language put together; and
    Otained at least 50% marks in CLAT of the total marks.

LL.MCourse(2 Year) :-  

 A candidate for admission to LL.M. Course should have passed LL.B./B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University and should have secured at least 55% of marks in aggregate of the maximum marks prescribed.

 General Candidates     - Below 30 years as on 01.08.2006
 SC/ST Candidates     - Below 32 years as on 01.08.2006

Phd programmes:-

(i) An applicant holding a Masters Degree in Law from a recognised University with 55% marks in the qualifying examination or a degree approved by Association of Indian Universities, or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the University, in the relevant field, with 55% marks.
(ii) Any Masters Degree in Law with 55% marks obtained from any of the Universities outside India, and that has been so recognized by the Indian Association of Universities, New Delhi.
(iii) For applicants belonging to SC/ST category a relaxation of 5% in marks shall be admissible under eligibility conditions prescribed under sub-clauses 1(i) and (ii).
