Devineni Venkata Ramana & Dr Hima Sekhar Mic College of Technology was established with a vision to train and upgrade the technical skills of engineers as per the requirement of the industry. Founded in 2002, Institute provides work and play environment to boost students persona and intellect quotient all through the academic period. It offers undergraduate and post graduate courses.

The students admissions are based on the rank obtained in EAMCET/ICET entrance tests for B.Tech and MCA/MBA respectively, and are filled by the Convenor.
The Student admissions are based on the rank obtained in GATE /AP-PGECET entrance tests for M.Tech.
The diploma student admissions are based on the rank obtained in POLYCET conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training, AP.
Facilities:
The Institute has modern infrastructure for the betterment of the students. Institute provides library with wide range of books and periodicals. It facilitates high speed internet facility with highly advanced computer in the computer centre. It also includes sports facility, cafeteria, auditorium, etc.

The College has a separate Training and Placement Cell, which invites various companies in all branches of Engineering. It has good recognition of providing successful engineers after completion of their degree. The list is sent to the concerned industries for their review and further shortlisted candidates are tested and interviewed in the campus.
