Founded in the year 1989, Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology is affiliated to the GBTU, Lucknow. It aims to impart and spread quality knowledge but also strives to ensure quality life to one and all.

The selection is made on the basis of State Level Combined Entrance Examination conducted jointly by GBTU, Lucknow and MTU, Noida usually conducted in April. Qualified candidates can take admission in the institute based on their rank via Combined Counseling.
For admission to first year of B. Tech. candidate must have clearly passed without grace, intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in required subject combination of two compulsory subjects and one optional subject as prescribed by GBTU Lucknow and MTU Noida.
