Poona College of Pharmacy (PCP) was founded in the year 1981 as a constituent part of Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune. The college is affiliated to the University of Pune, pune.
The college is approved by AICTE, UGC and accredited by NBA and NAAC with ‘A’ grade. Poona College of Pharmacy offers excellent standard of Pharmacy education.
The candidate should have passed H.S.C. examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Educational or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory along with one of the following subjects Mathematics / Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science and secured minimum 45% marks (minimum 40% marks in case of candidate of Backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) and MH-CET.
The institute’s campus provides a serene academic environment, which promotes academic environment. To maintain standards and meet the expectations of the industry, the Institute has developed an industry-oriented curriculum and excellent infrastructure. It includes facilities like well furnished class rooms, large auditorium, conference halls, library, documentation centre, etc.
The Placement Committee of the Institute assists the companies in the recruitment process. The Committee comprises of the Placement Coordinator, Course Coordinators, Faculty Members and Student Placement Committee members. Placements are provided to the deserving candidates.
