Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, sometimes referred to as Avinashilingam University, is a women only Deemed University located at Coimbatore.

It is now the largest institution in the country for imparting home science education. It has offered two majors and two ancillaries for the undergraduate degree courses.
 


Admissions:

Application for admission to the first year of the Bachelor's Degree programmes should be sent within ten days of publication of the results of the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Examinations to the Registrar, Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, in the prescribed application form available in the office on payment of Rs. 100/-

Spot admission will be given based on marks for all the Under Graduate Courses. The candidates are advised to produce the Internet Mark sheets (+2) and apply immediately for registration and admission.
