Academy of Management Studies (AMS) is one of the leading business schools in India that was established in the year 1983 in Dehradun. The institute offers excellent job oriented Management and Computer Application programmes. It is known for not only providing Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses but also for helping the students in getting better placements. The courses that are offered by the AMS are affiliated to three different Universities. The college is approved A.I.C.T.E (Govt. of India).

Being one of the oldest business and information technology schools, the institute offers three years full time Under Graduate courses in Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Computer Applications, two years full time in Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Three years full time in Master of Computer Applications (MCA). Programmes like BBA and BCA are affiliated to HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar (Garhwal) whereas MCA and MBA are affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun and Ministry of HRD, Govt of India respectively.

AMS campus is located amidst lush green hills, rivers and clean environment of Dehradun. Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand is known for providing fresh and clean environment with very low crime rate. The campus offers highly equipped and well furnished class rooms that are properly furnished with adequate chairs, tables, TV sets, LCD and Over-head projectors etc. It provides separate hostel facility for boys and girls. It also has spacious rooms that are meant for carrying out extracurricular activities.
